These axle halves have self-centring and self-aligning Hirth gearing and are connected inside the bottom bracket by a single strong bolt. \u003cbr\u003e\nThe oversized stainless steel bearings are located directly on the axle halves of the crank for maximum efficiency and rigidity. In that location they are also easily accessible for inspection and maintenance without having to remove the bearing cups from the frame. \u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\nCampagnolo offers four chainring options for the Ekar™ crankset, from 38 teeth to 44 teeth. The light and resistant chainrings made of 7075 aluminium are easily replaceable. With their asymmetrical design and 123 mm bolt circle, they can be easily unscrewed from the crank spider without needing to remove the crank.
